I go bonkers and stock up. It was $8.99 instead of $13.99 per pound! What's a part Italian girl to do in the face of such temptation?

And that's a pretty darn good price! I just had to check what the wedge of parmigiano costs (that's in the fridge right now) and it equals out to $8.35/lb at the current rate of about 1.30 dollars to the euro.
Stock up indeed! ;-)
